I hope your November is off to a good start. It’s that time of year again when a lot of men grow beards. I remember, I once refused to shave for an entire month…. then the owner of the barbershop fired me. … he also kept complaining about my wife’s dress…. I thought I made it look good.
Anyway… Let’s play some hooks!
OK. If you’ve got a fever and the only cure… is more cowbell, this song by Soul Rash Is for you. Cold Green Line is a song about the band’s guitar player’s trip to Boston a long time ago.
Yeah… that’s a good song…. reminds me a little of Sammy Hagar. … but you know,…b-but in a good way. You know, without all the tantrums and rehab.
I can relate to that… I remember when I bottomed out. I was laying down in an ally, overdosing on red liquorish, threatening people with my nerf gun. If you’ve ever taken one of those in the ear you know what I’m talking about.
Coming up behind Cold Green Line is a song about a person who feels they don’t deserve to be loved because they are self-destructive. I mean, sure… I made mistakes when I was younger… but now that I’m older I’ve learned to always have a backup Pez Dispenser in case my main one jams up.
